This place was incredible. I've lived in Dallas for 15 years and never been here. 15 different salsas. The BEST tequila cocktail selection I've ever seen. Super chill vibe & indoor & outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back very soon.

Got to enjoy their delicious tacos finally after passing them for months! As their dining room is not open yet I had to get them to go, but still received great service and food. I got the carne asada and chicken tacos, which were both a good size and made all my taste buds tingle! I definitely want to come back once they are open for in person dining and have a cocktail and of course more tacos!

We came to see movie and Angelica and we needed quick bites and luckily my wife found them. They were quick in service and they had varieties of taco and they were best tacos I ever had. After eating we had to rush for the movie and we forgot our car key at the table.. The lady server came running to give us key. We felt very grateful of her taking that effort to come outside the restaurant to return the key.. Thank you guys for being so helpful .

Best meal I've had while visiting Dallas yet, maybe the best tacos I've ever had. The rice and beans were so flavorful as well. I wanted more because it all tasted so good, but the portion size was perfect.

While headed to see a film at Angelika Theater, I stopped by Urban Taco for a to-go order. I ordered their chicken quesadillas and FYI, they are three mini crunchy sections...way more like quick fried tacos than traditional quesadillas. I would have loved a bit more seasoning but overall tasted good. Biggest disappointment was that to-go orders do not come with complimentary chips and salsa. You will be charged four dollars if you order chips and salsa with your meal.

I always heard of great Texas food. This was ahhhmmazing. The mix of flavors were perfectly matched. I got 3 tacos for $14 with 2 sides. The shrimp was the best I ever had. The spiced chips with salsa and avocados mixes were unique. The churros with ice cream were good but cheap on the ice cream serving. The frozen margarita was perfect and too strong for a second one.Revisited review:I have been able to come back to Dallas multiple times now living here a couple times a month and have visited other places. This is still my favorite. Torchis is great too but I think second to this one. They moved across the street in the same shopping area from last year. It's nice but one time it was so noisy from patrons my ears were hurting.

I love the food here! The tortas are amazing!!!!!! Recommend this especially if you are trying to break a eat at regular places habit. My first time going there was an amazing experience and I will be going back!

Tacos were very good. Good amount of meat and cheeses. Sides were a little small. Price is a little high. $13 for 3 tacos.

The food and service here is fantastic! You don't have a regular taco place. You have authentic Mexican dishes. Skip Torchy's next time, come here.

Simple, flavorful, inexpensive dishes. Great salsa choices. Cozy atmosphere. Interior is a bit worn down, needs some love. Bathrooms are needing most help. Service was fantastic.

I came here last night (Sunday) I actually just stumbled across it. I gave 3 stars because of the atmosphere, and outside seating is really nice. The one thing I didn’t like is their menu is not user or eye friendly. Like I had a hard time making out what I was reading, its almost like at first glance your reading Spanish! I ended up leaving due to that reason... staff was very friendly though! -Wheezy

I love Urban Taco. Great atmosphere and location. Outstanding customer service and food is amazing. Drinks are not watered down, you definitely get what you pay for. Will return in my next visit to Texas.

Urban Taco is a local restaurant we eat at frequently. I had a birthday party and decided to use Urban Taco for catering the event. The food was delicious and was exactly what I was looking for. It was a bit of a process to get a hold of the catering manager, but once I finally made contact wit him, he was super easy to work with. Highly recommend for both a quick bite to eat or catering for your next event.

Food would be 3 stars, service is 4 stars, and seating is 3 stars. So 3 stars overall.From the outside, decor is modern and jazzy. Seating next to the wall is uncomfortable because the back of your seat is...a wall ledge. They added cushions to help pad this ledge but the cushions are too small and move around.I had the seafood ceviche. Portion size was generous with a lot of avocado. However, it was overly salty. The chips that came with was similarly salty.The bright point was the waiters were very nice and helpful.

Whenever I go to my doctor in Dallas, I stop and treat myself to a meal here. The food is good and of a consistent quality. I like the Tortas here. Make sure you try the Salsa Trio. You get some of their delicious seasoned chips and a choice of three different salsas. They have some great and unique ones. By the way, you can hit 3 pokestops from Urban Taco.

Good tacos, great mixed drinks, and the bartender is very nice. Great customer service and good prices. Nice spot for a late night drink to relax. $$

The jalapeno zucchini salsa will blow your mind. I get the sampler, and get jalapeno zucchini as all 3 options for the salsa.I just wish that they would come back to San Antonio.We miss you!

All around great place to go for tacos. The management and staff was very friendly and offers excellent service. The fish tacos were awesome tonight!

I love the food here but be careful. The price listed on grub hub is different. I placed an order and when I went to pick up the food ... there was a $3 extra charge. That’s a significant amount. I could have demanded my $3 back but didn’t. Next time I order, let’s see if the fix the problem.

The drinks are very good especially the Margaritas and Mojitos. My Mojito was a little sugary but was potent. The Salas were as authentic as it can get. I loved the hot pepper salsa. And for the entree the 3 Tacos Plate was an awesome delight. I had the chicken tacos and red snapper, it was among the best tacos i have ever had. Awesome.

Quick lunch before attending movie theater. Very good and well prepared.

Worst dinning experience I have ever had. We came on a Thursday since they are constantly advertising their party on the patio. We easily get a table outside. Takes 40 minutes to get our first order of margaritas, even tho the table behind us get many while we wait. Our starter even comes before our drinks. We order dinner before our drinks. Drinks come, but never again will our waitress. After sitting there with for over 30 minutes no drinks or food I have to go get her. She again claims they are busy, but we seem to be the only table having issues . When the food comes out, its of course wrong . Then the food was nothing special, and all dishes are over $10. With prices like this I expected much more. At this point we are just ready to leave, ask not to be charged for their mistake and ask for the check. Waitress didn't come back so we have to stand by the register to get our ticket Our whole dinning experience is over 2 hours mostly spent with no food or even water.

Wait staff was very attentive. Answered the many questions asked by the group. Food was delicious. Don't go expecting a huge hard taco. This is authentic Mexican. They serve soft tortilla tacos. The only thing that I felt was negative was the pricing for the portion sizes.

Urban Taco has amazing food and a great service. When entering everyone was so attentive, our server Jorge J. took care of us and kept coming to check on us. Such a sweet, sweet man! I really enjoyed my meal, I ordered the al pastor torta. The torta included Adobo and chile-rubbed pork, white beans, pico de pina, queso fresco and avocado-lime crema. It also came with two sides- coleslaw, Yucatán fries and some kind of chipotle mayo sauce. The whole wheat bread was toasted to perfection! I also got the tray with three different salsas with chips. The green salsa was the most delicious one! Will definitely be coming back!

One of my go-to's for Mexican food. Customer service is excellent, specially Jorge J. who always serves you with a smile and is very attentive.

I have visited several Taco restaurants. I have visited this location twice, and each time the food is great but the staff is the reason for the one star. The bartender in photo attached is the rudest and most unprofessional bartender I have ever encountered! How do you make good tips, when you treat customers poorly? I and you should stay away from their establishment! Not worth the money or time! Better places to eat and have a better experience!

These were the best tacos my entire family has ever had, and we are taco snobs! The kids loved all the different types of tacos and agreed it was an amazing experience! The service was great and everyone was super friendly as well! Thank you for the memories!

Food was pretty good. Service was ok. They treated us well but took a long time to get the food out. Might not be the first place I’d pick to grab tacos in Dallas, but it’s still new so maybe it will see improvement.

I no longer live in Dallas but whenever I’m in town I stop in for a visit to Urban Taco. The food is delicious and the service is always on point. The friendliest staff. I forgot my reading glasses and my server was so sweet he read my check to me so I could pay because everything was blurry!

My first time eating at this establishment and I must say are female waiter wasn't the greatest but the older female back waiter was truly amazing. The back waiter made sure we had everything we needed in the most courteous way.The food was presented well and tasted good but in my opinion over priced. That's my humble opinion of place.
